KB+ Mini Warehouses arrive at the Country with a new Idea for Personal Storage

Guatemala May 17th 2022 – As part of its diversification strategy in the country’s real estate market, Grupo Onyx opened the doors of its new project KB+ Mini warehouses, a 3 level building and 271 mini warehouses that vary between 6 and 22 square meters.

The project is located in the heart of the city in zone 12, a few meters from Calzada Atanasio Tzul, and offers micro-, small-, and medium-sized businesses the option to store their inventory, goods, and seasonal products, or permanent ones, in a safe and secure location that is accessible to carry out its commercial activities. Also, KB+ also provides the possibility to store home goods, such as furniture, toys, clothing, decorative articles, seasonal articles, and archives among others.

Among the advantages of KB+ Mini Storage are the contract periods which can be short term (one month minimum) and clients can pick between four size options: Small (2 to 6 square meters); Medium (11 to 14 square meters); Large (17 to 19 square meters); and X-Large (20 to 22 square meters).

“KB+ is the ideal place to store those home articles that no longer fit at home, as well as inventory and goods of small and medium businesses that need temporary spaces or long-term ones,” as José Moreno, Onyx Group Real Estate Management Division Director explained.

The mini warehouses can be used to store any type of legal goods, with the exception of corrosive substances or materials, explosives, fuels, or goods and/or products that are against the law.

The building has the highest standards of design and materials used for its construction. For example, the internal divisions and shutters of the mini warehouses were made by the Janus company of the United States, and the loading elevators are of the famous Hyundai brand.

This project was conceptualized to offer the Guatemalan market facilities with world class standards. The building has a modern system of access control, with unique personalized codes, closed circuit cameras for monitoring, 24-hour security, two loading elevators, and an anti-fire system,” added José Moreno, who also mentioned that this project is in one of the areas with the highest commercial development and residences in Guatemala.

The KB+ Mini warehouses building also has a meeting room that can be used for free so that clients can meet with visitors or suppliers in the same place where they keep their merchandise and inventories. The hours of operation are Monday to Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Administration works Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
