National Secretary of SENACYT, Ana Chan, Visited Horus Energy

The National Secretary of Science and Technology (SENACYT due to its acronym in Spanish), Ana Chan, visited Horus Energy Photovoltaic plant to see the process of clean and renewable energy generation in Guatemala, as well as find opportunities to work together.

The Secretary and her delegation were told that the plant has 345,000 solar panels, which are equipped with technology that allows them to follow the movement of the sun at all times. This makes the use of the renewable resource more efficient and results in supplying energy to over 60,000 homes in the Departments of Santa Rosa and Jutiapa.
